Brian P. Malnak is the vice president, government affairs with responsibility for federal and state government relations. Malnak is based in Washington, D.C.

Malnak previously served as Republican staff director on the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources, responsible for developing and executing legislative and regulatory strategy for Republican members of a major Senate committee regarding energy and natural resources policy. He held various positions with the Committee since 1996. Prior to joining the Committee, he served as legislative director for Senator Frank H. Murkowski (R-AK), deputy chief of staff to Governor Walter J. Hickle (R-AK) and as associate director of communications for the Office of the Secretary of the Interior.

Malnak holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
