Janelle Duray - Vice President
Janelle Duray serves as the Vice President of Jobs for America’s Graduates. In her role, Janelle is a key resource to JAG’s 32 State Affiliate Executive Directors, helping them to foster relationships with funders and organizations in order to further JAG’s mission. She also works with JAG National funders to develop strategic relationships that expand beyond financial development in order to fully engage JAG funders at the programmatic, local level. Finally, in her role at JAG, Janelle works with JAG’s President, Mr. Ken Smith, and JAG’s National Board Members to expand JAG’s footprint, working with Governors, Chief State School Officers, and Commissioners of Workforce Development and Labor to bring JAG to new states.
Janelle is also the Associate Vice President for Strategic Partnerships LLC, the consulting firm that manages JAG. In her role with Strategic Partnerships, Janelle works with Fortune 500 companies, national non-profits, and trade associations to help clients develop and meet their educational and workforce development strategies.
Janelle received her Masters of Arts in Public Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA in 2010 and her Bachelors of Arts in Global Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2007. Prior to her time at JAG and Strategic Partnerships, Janelle held positions at the Association of American Law Schools and former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty’s office.
