Nate Bailey leads Human Resources for GE Transportation, providing strategic support for employees worldwide. GE Transportation is a global leader in rail, mining and marine industries with annual revenue of $4 billion and more than 9,000 employees globally.
In his prior role, Nate was Sr Executive Human Resources – Supply Chain for GE Aviation providing support for 27,000 employees at more than 80 manufacturing, assembly and engine maintenance sites worldwide. Nate’s more than 20 years of service with GE also includes roles at Healthcare, NBCUniversal and GE Capital. From 2010 to 2013, he helped transform the service delivery model for GE Healthcare’s U.S. Service organization, reducing cost and increasing productivity in the $2.2B P&L with 4,600 employees distributed across the US.
Nate began his GE career in 1996 when he joined GE Capital Retail Finance as the HR Manager for their Atlanta, Georgia based call center. While at Retail Finance, Nate held various positions including: HR manager for the Sales, Business Development and Client Development organizations based in Stamford, CT; HR integration leader for JC Penney Credit Services based in Dallas, TX; VP, Human Resources for JC Penney Credit Services; and finally, VP, Human Resources for the 22 Customer Service and Collections sites across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico based in Kansas City, MO.

Nate graduated Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.
