JAG Model Programs are student-centered and data-driven. Collected data allows Specialists to develop individualized and cohort strategies to overcome barriers and track classroom and follow-up services, as well as outcomes achieved. Data reviews provide insight into classroom activities to understand areas for improvement and training for specialist and also help JAG tell it’s 40 year story of improved outcomes for young people.
Specialists create a Student Profile including a variety of demographic, economic, academic, and family information upon entry into a JAG Model Problem.
Specialists provide individual and group instruction to 35-45 students using the competency-based JAG National Curriculum along with Mentoring, Leadership Development, Guidance Counseling, and Placement services.
Following the instructional phase of a JAG Model Program, Specialists conduct 12 months of follow-up and support services with the goal of employment and/or post-secondary education enrollment.
