The LOVE Project; Lifting Our Voices for Equity
With the support of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), JAG has launched the LOVE Project: Lifting Our Voices for Equity. The purpose of this project is to encourage youth to identify challenges in their community and work collectively to make change through their local Career Association, ultimately working towards creating a more inclusive world.
Since JAG’s inception 40 years ago, our student-led organization, the Career Association (CA), has provided an outlet for youth voice. Through the LOVE project, we are leaning into the social awareness, civic engagement and leadership development goals of the CA by asking the question, “Where do inequities show up in your community and what can you do to create positive change?”
