JAG Chairman, Governor Phil Bryant met with Secretary-Designate of Education Betsy DeVos.
Governor Bryant remarked, "If confirmed, Secretary-Designate DeVos is going to be a great ambassador for educating our children. As Chairman-Elect of the Education Commission of the States, I look forward to working with the Secretary-Designate to make public education great again in America."
The Senate Education Committee has scheduled a confirmation hearing for Betsy DeVoss, President-Elect Trump's pick for Secretary of Education, on January 11, 2017.
