Jan is an agile leader known for his values-oriented work ethic, strong communication skills, ability to execute under challenging circumstances, and fostering strong relationships.
Jan’s experience aligning strategy to execution in business, nonprofit, and the military is instrumental to the growth and sustainability of the national network. As the VP of Operations and Affiliate Relations, Jan oversees the operations and affiliate relations to JAG’s affiliate partners operating across 40 states to achieve a sustainable national network strategy.
Prior to joining the JAG team Jan spent a few years as a sales leader with a private sector manufacturing firm where he contributed to the development of the company’s five year business strategy, oversaw business development opportunities and maintained relationships with strategic sales partners. However, Jan is not new to the #JAGFam. He spent several years leading operations and stakeholder engagement for Youth Solutions, Inc., JAG’s Michigan-based affiliate. During his time with Youth Solutions Jan had the privilege to play a critical role in the growth of the organization. Jan is an Army veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn. He received an Executive MBA from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Social Sciences from San Diego State University, and an Executive Leadership certificate from the University of Notre Dame.
Jan lives in West Michigan with his young active family. When not working Jan can be found wrestling his three boys, dodging Nerf bullets, teaching them to surf on Lake Michigan, or stepping on deadly LEGO pieces.
