Vice President, Chief Talent Officer, GE Vernova
As the Chief Talent Officer of GE Vernova, Nate is responsible for all talent-related matters across the organization and leading the Talent Center of Expertise. In this role, Nate oversees Leadership and Talent Development, Learning, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Organizational Effectiveness as well as the Internship and Early Career Leadership Programs.
Nate has more than 25 years of experience in GE Human Resources leadership roles across Software, Financial Services, Healthcare, Media, and Transportation industries. Most recently, Nate was the Chief Human Resources Officer of GE Vernova’s Software business, where he was responsible for the business’ global HR talent, practices, policies, and operations while championing an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Nate began his GE career in 1996 with GE Capital as an HR Manager and held positions of increasing responsibilities, with his last role at Capital as VP, Employee Relations for the GE Card Services business. He then served in HR leadership roles at NBC Universal, GE Healthcare, and GE Aerospace. In 2018, he was named CHRO for GE Transportation, where he led the business through the merger with Wabtec. At Wabtec, Nate served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for Wabtec’s 27,000 employees across all P&Ls and functions in 50 countries prior to rejoining GE Aerospace in October 2020. Nate joined the GE Vernova Electrification Software business as CHRO in April 2021.
Nate serves as a Board Member for Jobs for America’s Graduates, a non-profit organization focused on ensuring high risk high school students graduate and either enter the workforce or go on to college.
Nate graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations.
