The JAG Board of Directors established the Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship Fund in honor of the extraordinary leadership and service of the first and only President and Chief Executive Officer of Jobs for America’s Graduates, Inc., Kenneth M. Smith
The Governance and Scholars Committee of the JAG Board of Directors invested considerable time in reviewing applications, high school academic transcripts, essays, and support letters submitted by the fifty-three (53) nominees. The panelists that selected the ten (10) recipients of the $1,000 scholarship award were complimentary of the application and support materials submitted for consideration. The following is a list of the 2011 Smith Scholars, their Specialist, the college they plan to attend in 2011-2012, and their career goal. Congratulations to the 2011 Smith Scholars!
