Adam Grzybicki

As President of National External Affairs, Adam Grzybicki is responsible for supporting Mr. Ed Gillespie on strategic projects and initiatives. He is based in Washington, DC, and has responsibility for all state regulatory relations, state legislative campaigns, and serves as the lead for AT&T with strategic political associations.

Adam joined AT&T in 1998 and most recently served as President of the Midwest Region based in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of capacities and locations for the company including California, New Jersey, Oregon, and Virginia. During his career, he has had direct managerial responsibility for many states across the country, which has provided unique insight into many of the connectivity needs and regional issues faced by consumers and businesses alike. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics that address how public policy could be crafted to stimulate infrastructure investment and bridge the digital divide.

Adam began his career as a district director in the U.S. House of Representatives, and then worked for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on international policy issues. He holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Oklahoma State University.

AT&T is committed to the communities we serve and throughout his career, Adam has served on the boards of numerous organizations with a strong focus on education, civic and cultural philanthropy. He is passionate about mentoring and chairs several committees inside the company that support these initiatives.

Adam and his wife, Sonja, have three children and reside in Maryland.
