Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) is a new class offered by Kennett High School. Ben Foster, KHS JAG Specialist has been working hard with the participants who were interested in this class to make sure they earn success.

During the class, students learn valuable employability skills as well as a variety of skills including career development, job attainment, job survival, leadership and self-development skills; life survival, and personal and workplace skills.

According to Foster, the class strives for three possible positive outcomes from the JAG curriculum which are: enter the workforce, enter the military, or pursue a secondary education. Foster also said the class will be working on developing high character individuals that will become productive citizens after graduating. "These students will be offered the opportunity to participate in job shadowing experiences in the community and will be offered the opportunity to sit in on guest speakers speaking about their respective careers," Foster said. "We hope these experiences will give our students an idea of what careers they may want to pursue in the future."

This year's JAG senior members are: Mary Calloway, Michelle Carlton, Sikita Johnson, Kentrell Northern, Terrill Ross, Quentin Walker, Nancy Whitfield, and Shondrea Wynne.
