INDIANAPOLIS -Apprenticeship and coding school Kenzie Academy is partnering with Jobs for America’s Graduates to grant $300,000 in scholarships to current high school seniors and recent alumni across the state. The scholarships will give JAG Indiana seniors and alumni the chance to study several tech fields for a reduced tuition rate.
“Indiana’s future economy depends on preparing graduates today for the jobs of tomorrow,” said Chok Ooi, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Kenzie Academy. “We are honored to invest in JAG’s mission to help Indiana’s young people of great promise succeed. By marrying Kenzie’s training with the foundational skills learned through JAG, a program backed by 38-years of research with a 95% high school graduation rate, Hoosier students will have the opportunity to become top tech talent and drive the economy forward.”
Kenzie is offering twenty $10K scholarships to JAG students graduating this academic year for cohorts in July or September 2019. The school is also offering twenty $5K scholarships for students who were previously in the JAG program for the April, July, or September 2019 cohorts.
